After a journey that totally changed my way of thinking and acting in my own life, I finally live the life I wanted and have been longing for.

After working hard in my business career for many years I ended up in hospital due to severe burnout. I then realised that I was living a stressful life that I thought I wanted in order to have the things I thought I needed, but it did not fulfil me or make me happy. I left business and became a cognitive behaviour therapist and today I live in Mallorca and work in order to help my clients.

My passion is to provide my clients with practical and straightforward tools to achieve a balanced life. A life where all aspects find their place, where we listen to our needs, and where we live according to our values towards a desired goal. Being able to recognise behavioural patterns and examine destructive thoughts in order to challenge them and choose to do things differently... to truly feel balanced and happy ... from within.

Living on this beautiful island and my work here and online with the clients is something that really gives me joy… every day.

My philosophy

We all have periods where we are not in our best balance, it can be a life crisis due to many factors, or we find out that the life we live is not making us happy. This is not at all unusual. Many of us have more than enough to live a good life but are still not happy. Stress, burnout, depression, and anxiety are the leading causes of sick leave and the use of antidepressants is widespread.

Living this way from the outside in, focusing on performance, external success, or material belongings, is a way to survive but does it fill your life with the life you are dreaming of? Life should be lived not survived. We have to be honest with ourselves and live from our hearts, from the inside, not the outside.

What makes us happy, honestly? Do I know where I am going? How do I spend my valuable days? How do I talk to myself, is it calm and kind? What is my body trying to tell me and how do I respond?

CBT helps us to look at our actions and thoughts and challenges them in order to help us feel better. I help my clients in simple ways with practical tools, in order to find more balance, tranquility, harmony, and joy in life. In my therapy I use a lot of simple illustrations, A picture says more than 1000 words and it is something we often remember,

Finally, HOPE is very important! There is nothing wrong with you, this type of problem will in most cases pass with simple tools.

Using simple illustrations to aid understanding, I emphasize the power of hope. Challenges are surmountable with the right mindset and tools.

Susanne’s story

My clients call me ” The wounded healer”

I was once a hardworking businesswoman with an international marketing career, focusing on achievement, external validation, and material possessions. I lived my life from the outside in. This, combined with personal challenges, eventually led me to months in hospital due to a serious state of exhaustion. That's when I decided to change my life, and my career and start to help others.

I wish someone had given me tools to manage my destructively stressful life and the negative thoughts that pushed me to continue at a high pace before it made me ill. I lost my marriage and my job, we sold our beautiful house and I realized that nothing of that made me happy. I started to listen to my inside. What do I want, What do I need to feel in balance and happy?

Today, I live life from the inside out and believe strongly that we often forget that life should be lived, not just survived. I became a cognitive behavioral therapist; a job I love. My passion is to provide my clients with practical and straightforward tools to achieve a balanced life. A life where all aspects find their place, where we listen to our needs, and where we live according to our values towards a desired goal.
